They are turning key characters that help mold our MC into trivial characters like the dog he played a major roll in that first competition. He and the mc teamed up to bully the competition and rob them all of which was removed from the anime and was a KEY part of the novel. The preview for the next episode looks like they messed with another key part of the novel I am starting to wonder who decided to mess with the story this badly in the anime. i am starting to get a little sad at how badly they are messing with the story.
